WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL UNDER SECTION 14/1 OF THE ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984 WEST BERKSHIRE DISTRICT COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL) INTENDS TO MAKE ORDERS AS FOLLOWING (VARIOUS ROADS ACROSS THE COUNCIL AREA) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021 The Council intends , not less than seven days from the date of this notice, to make an order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over the following sections of roads. 1. Vanners Lane, Enborne 2. Old Lane, Hamstead Marshall 3. Burgess Lane, Hamstead Marshall 4. Park Lane, Kintbury The purpose of this Order is to enable remedial works to take place on or near the highway, namely for GigaClear Ltd. The above restrictions will only be implemented as and when required. Dates and times of the individual closures will be advertised locally and on site when the works are finalised. The proposed Order will come into effect on Monday 7th June 2021. (GREENWAYS, LAMBOURN) (TEMPORARY PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) ORDER 2021 The Council has made an Order the effect of which will be to prohibit any vehicle from proceeding in any direction over Greenways in Lambourn from its junction with Edwards Hill along its entire length. There is no alternative route for this closure, the closure will be manned by gatemen whilst the closure is in place to ensure resident, blue light and school access. The purpose of this Order is to enable works to take place on or near the highway, namely for BT to carry out pole replacement. The proposed Order will come into effect on 24th May 2021. It is envisaged that the closure will be in place during the hours of 08:00 to 16:00 each day, between the 1st and 3rd June 2021. Unless stated otherwise the above orders shall remain in force for a period of eighteen months, or until the works are complete, whichever is the soonest, they will not take effect until approved traffic signs have been erected.
