Newbury and District is a self-funding branch of Cats Protection and has to find over £125,000 a year to fund the work of the Adoption Centre. In these uncertain times the centre is closed for rehoming and they have had to postpone all of their fundraising events. As a charity they rely solely on the generosity of and kindness of public donations to enable them to go on caring for cats and kittens. The staff are continuing to look after the cats who are still in their care as rehoming has been postponed. If you wish to support Newbury Cats Protection, you can donate £5 today by texting NEWB to 70577 (full terms and conditions online). The team would also like to pass on their gratitude for all who have kept their cats in mind at this difficult time.
Further information on how you can support the charity, plus up-to-date information can be found at their website: www.cats.org.uk/newbury/support-us
