F amily album - these pictures were sent in by Jane Winfer, who lives in Surrey, chronicling weddings in her family from the early 20th century, starting with her paternal grandparents, who both came from Stockcross

Edith Ellen Burgess (1885-1977) married Frank William Foster (1887-1963), at St John’s Church, Stockcross, on September 18, 1915. The photograph is taken outside the Burgess house, 29 Stockcross. On the bride’s left is her father and mother, Edith and Frank Foster, her brother – and Jane’s father – Harold Eric William Foster and Kitty Barratt (daughter of Stella Burgess) – the other bridesmaid is DorothyAllen (daughter of Florence Jessie Burgess)
