T he cheese counter at Cheese Etc, The Pangbourne Cheese Shop contains more than 130 different types of cheese. The majority of them are British, but the shop also stocks a selection of European cheeses. If you are looking for extras to go with your cheese then they also stock a range of accompaniments such as crackers, chutneys, wine, local beer and cider. Pangbourne has become a real foodie destination with many small independent shops offering old-fashioned customer service and high-quality products. Cheese Etc has been at the heart of the village for almost 15 years. Jen and Ali Grimstone-Jones have been running the shop for the last five years and during that time they have won the Cheese Counter of the Year at the World Cheese Awards as well as Cheesemonger of the Year at the Farm Shop and Deli Awards. As well as their nationwide delivery service, Cheese Etc offers a free local flexi delivery service to Newbury, Thatcham and surrounding villages. This is a service that Jen and Ali have always offered, but over the last few months the demand for it has increased as more and more people are staying at home and shopping locally.
