C obbs was founded out of a passion for supplying quality food with provenance to our customers as well as providing a platform for the immense volume of artisanal producers on our doorstep. At our farm shops you will find fresh seasonal produce, a fantastic butcher with the very best locally-sourced, free-range meat, a local fishmonger, local ales, ciders and spirits and our very own home-grown award-winning English sparkling wine, as well as all your store cupboard essentials. We would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has shopped with us in recent months. Whether it was the fresh produce, locally-sourced meats, British cheese and tasty sweet treats that kept you coming back or simply that we were the convenient choice in an unusual climate, we thank you. By shopping local you have not only supported our business through uncertain times, but you have also indirectly helped your local community and some amazing local suppliers too. More than ever, as a company we want to make sure that we do not lose sight of what is important to us at Cobbs – this includes giving back to the local communities that support us. During lockdown we were able to provide an additional online veg box

service, so that those who were most vulnerable were able to order online and collect from our farm shops. This was a completely contactless service and, although this has now ended, we are grateful that we had the opportunity to do more for our customers when they needed it. We have also been able to support some fantastic local charities during the pandemic by supplying them with weekly donations of fresh produce. These achievements would not have been possible if people were not making the decision to shop local to begin with, so thank you. Now that we have finally been able to reopen our café doors, we hope that going forward customers will continue to choose a local business over a larger chain. There is such a positive knock-on effect by doing so and many benefits that stretch beyond convenience.
