There is an 8-mile or alternative 5-mile route. Refreshments will be available on your return. Oxford Castle Unlocked embraces a magical Merlin theme for May half term. Take a guided tour of the 1000 year old castle prison and discover the underground crypt, where Geoffrey of Monmouth first wrote the Legends of King Arthur in the 13th century.
