Crack the Easter egg trail

Sunday, April 1 Easter Egg Hunt, Highclere Castle in aid of the NSPCC 11am to 3pm Easter Bonnet parade 2.30pm Each child wins an Easter Egg. Other activities include Easter Bonnet Parade, and Easter-themed games. Adult garden ticket £7 per person, includes access to the Easter Egg Hunt, gardens and grounds, tea rooms and gift shop. Pre-booking advised. It is suggested each child gives a donation to the NSPCC on the day. Visitors can upgrade their ticket on the day to visit the castle or Egyptian exhibition, subject to availability. Tea rooms open from 9.30am-5pm. Tickets Corn Exchange, The Friends of Newtown Road Cemetery, formed by Newbury Town Council in 2009 to get the Newtown Road Cemetery re-opened to the public. Research the personal histories of those buried in the cemetery, including the 20 Commonwealth War Graves and the numerous mayors, murderers, artists, medical personnel, generals and many others.
