Out & About Spring 2018
n Take the bulbs out of their nursery pot by gently squeezing the pot until the soil comes loose n Sometimes the bulbs have short roots and will come out with most of the soil still in the pot n Don’t worry about that, just make sure you plant them in the soil again when you place them in the vessel
n Give it all a good water and then add a layer of moss on top of the soil n This will help keep the moisture in so the planter doesn’t dry out quickly and it also looks decorative. n You can add a few twigs for a bit of interest and then you’re all done. n Bulbs don’t need a lot of water, a little bit once a week goes a long way.
