The Newbury pub terrace, 137 Bartholomew St, Newbury RG14 5HB Great terrace in the centre of Newbury at the top of this popular pub. Eat from the full menu or have a proper wood-fired pizza from the pizza oven on the terrace.

Six miles from Newbury, this country pub has outside seating overlooking stunning countryside. Great for gluten-free diners with many options on the menu like their GF soup of the day, a chicken liver parfait GF version, pies and chops. The menu is marked with dishes that can be adapted to gluten-free and they also do gluten-free beers.

In a glorious setting, there’s a terrace for summer dining. Inside you can see the chefs in the open kitchen creating wonderfully simple seasonal dishes like smoked haddock, Scotch egg, celeriac and mustard slaw or sea bream, wild garlic giant couscous, lemon, tomato and radish.
