What the teams said: Husband and wife Teri and Steve Forsgren were led by Thomas and they said: “We loved every minute. It was a very busy and productive morning trying to find the most hidden secrets of Hungerford’s antiques. The actual hunt was the most exciting. We were supposed to buy three pieces in one hour and we had nothing in the first 45 minutes. The pressure was on. Then we found the treasure. Thomas – the expert – was amazing.”

Christine Rayner and Doris Hester said how much fun it was spending someone else’s money: “It was also good having an expert to yourself and having advice, background and the possible value for a variety of items. They are also very good company. It was a great fun day.”

Pamela King and Angela Crompton were guided by Thomas and thoroughly enjoyed their day too: “We particularly enjoyed shopping with the experts and meeting new people.”
