Domaine de Clayou 2020 £9.50 Easy drinking Sauvignon Blanc from the Loire Valley. The wine is aromatic with notes of white flowers, lemon, white peach and freshly-cut grass. Enjoy on its own or try with grilled asparagus. Emille Balland Coteaux de Giennois Les Beaux Jours 2019 £13.40 Emile Balland is a top-notch wine maker and this wine is delicious. Ripe melon and acacia honey balanced by racey acidity. Try this with a goat’s cheese salad and be transported to France. Domaine Le Brun Pouilly Fume 2018 £17.95 The wonderful thing about wines from Pouilly Fume, on the opposite side of the river to Sancerre, is the subtle smokiness of their wine. Complex and slightly textured this wine will evolve and improve in depth and complexity.

West Cape Howe £16.99 Light, zesty, tropical fruits with herbaceous aromas. This fresh white can be enjoyed with a wide range of dishes and is a fabulous New World take on the styles familiar in White Bordeaux wines.
