Welcome to the NWN Young Photographer of the Year 2021 WELCOME to the fifth annual Newbury Weekly News Young Photographer of the Year competition. We are excited to be bringing the competition back for another year with the theme Changing World. Once again, the standard of entries has been superb.

We hope you will enjoy looking at all the entries, which are printed here, and would like to thank everyone for taking the time to enter the competition and for making this supplement as fantastic as it is. We are delighted to encourage and showcase the talented young photographers in our area. And we would like you, our readers, to vote for each category winner, choosing your favourite picture in each age group. Our judging panel will then choose the overall winner (once again headed by NWN ’s award-winning photographer Phil Cannings). The winners will each receive a £75 Amazon voucher. Don’t miss the opportunity to cast your vote, using the form to the right. All voting forms must be received by Thursday, June 17. You can vote as many times as you like, but each vote must be cast on an original entry form. No photocopies will be accepted. We wish all entrants the best of luck and thank you for entering this competition. The winners will be announced in the Newbury Weekly News next month, so don’t forget to check and see who has won.
