Michael was part of the senior management team at the Co-op at the time and was often away but when he retired in 2016 my role was to change and it was then we decided it was time to open our own business. Our aim here is to offer a service which has total continuity, we will not for instance transfer our telephones to a call centre at 5pm; they will be answered by ourselves 24 hours a day. Funeral arrangements will be made by me, with families either here at Little Holbrook or at the family home whichever is preferable to the family. On the day of the funeral it will be conducted by me and that support will continue until such time as the family no longer need us. Maria will be assisted by her husband Michael, who between them have 55 years experience in funeral service, working in the past for large companies including former royal funeral directors, J H. Kenyon.
