Are delighted to announce the arrival of their daughter, Katie Rose. Born on 2nd April at 7.20am weighing 7lbs 12ozs. A sister for Benjamin.

Born in New Southgate, London, 21st September 1941, Bob proudly served the London Fire Brigade as a Station Officer, and enjoyed a long and happy retirement in the New Forest, in a house that he renovated throughout with his own hands. He is survived by Dorothy, his wife of 51 years, his children Stephen and Caroline, and his grandson James, whom he adored. A gentle, funny, loving man, and a true hero in every sense, he will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends. Small family funeral with memorial service at a later date.
